Vision
Hong Kong has long been known as a "food paradise". Amidst the economic ups and downs and the continued impact of the public health epidemic, the food manufacturing and catering industries remain a solid pillar of the local GDP. The industry's contribution to improving people's quality of life and maintaining social harmony and stability is unquestionable.
Food manufacturing is a traditional industry in Hong Kong, with production lines largely based on traditional methods. In light of this, a group of like-minded individuals from Hong Kong's food and beverage, innovation, and technology sectors are committed to supporting the growth of local traditional industries and helping startup investors with innovative food manufacturing concepts. They are also committed to developing smart production and applying advanced technologies, fostering a sustainable business environment in this intelligent era. This initiative aims to enhance Hong Kong's competitiveness and diversify its economic development.
Therefore, the Hong Kong Smart Catering Association was officially established on January 6, 2023.
