2025.6.25 Field visit to the Chinese Culinary Institute

Honorary Advisor of the Hong Kong Smart Catering Association, Mr. Tam Ka-leung, Founding Chairman Mr. Huang Zhichao, and others visited the Chinese Culinary Academy and conducted in-depth investigations and exchanges on the introduction and application of the "Green Smart Kitchen IoT System."

As one of the key projects established by the Hong Kong SAR Government to celebrate the millennium, the Chinese Culinary Academy shoulders the important mission of systematically cultivating professional Chinese culinary talents. Through diverse courses and international exchanges, it also helps Hong Kong consolidate its international reputation as the "City of Gastronomy in Asia".


Mr. Yip Hon-pang, the current President of the Chinese Culinary Academy, introduced the Academy's profile and current status to the Association and its delegation. Both parties reached a consensus on how the introduction and application of the "Green Smart Kitchen IoT System" can not only serve as a showcase and promotion window for the industry, but also further promote the popularization of smart kitchen concepts in local culinary education and industry in Hong Kong.

This trip not only deepened the cooperative relationship between the association and the culinary education community, but also laid a good foundation for the subsequent promotion of the "Green Smart Kitchen IoT System" in teaching and demonstration.

The Association will continue to monitor the feasibility of the collaboration, propose a system deployment plan in due course, and promote the implementation of the system at the Chinese Culinary Institute, aiming to establish it as a benchmark for smart catering development in Hong Kong.
